Annual Triton Night
Triton Night is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It is an incredible night featuring fabulous items donated by local supporters. It has raised $50,000 with the proceeds benefiting the programs that SCEF funds.

Fence Banner Program
The Fence Banner program is an effective marketing campaign to advertise your local business at the high school.  The banners are rendered on high quality durable material and displayed on the fence in front of SCHS for entire school year.

FAQ’s: Banner placement is on a first come first serve basis and is limited to approved locations.  You will be notified when your banner is completed and given the opportunity to preview and request a location based on availability.  Prime spots are offered to existing advertisers by seniority.  The annual renewal date will be the first of the following month that your banner was installed.  Banners are produced by our approved vendor, who will work with you to create a design approved by you and SCHSEF.  Please contact us for more information.

Registration donations
SCHS includes a donation request form in all registration packages. Please look for yours in your student’s registration package this
fall.

Ralph’s Community Partners
Between 2% and 4% of the amount of your Ralph’s Grocery purchases is donated back to SCEF if you sign up on the Internet at www.Ralphs.com. The SCEF Nonprofit organization number (NPO) is KM917. Please re-register every September. Learn more about how the program works here.

Direct Mailings
Each fall the SCEF sends each prior donor and high school family a donation request. Look in you mailbox in October for this important letter.

Volunteer Opportunties

SCEF is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. Accordingly, we are perennially in need of volunteers with an interest in supporting academics at SCHS. Our needs run the gamut from a full commitment as a Board Member, to volunteers who can spare only a few hours a couple of times per year. The following are just a few of our volunteer opportunities:

Board Members 
The SCEF Board meets onc evening per month for two hours to review our academic and fundraising programs and approve funding for new academic programs requested by SCHS administration and faculty. Additionally, Board Members periodically chair and/or staff various SCEF programs.

Annual Triton Night
Our annual dinner auction is our most important fundraiser. Volunteers visit local merchants to obtain auction item donations, decorate and arrange auction items, and work the tables to facilitate registration and check out at the event.

Treasurer Support
SCEF uses QuickBooks to manage our accounting. Volunteers assist in treasurer in various tasks including data entry and check production and distribution.

Donor Administration
SCEF utilizes a DonorPerfect database to record our donors and donations. Volunteers enter donations, produce and distribute mailings, and use the DonorPerfect reporting tool to provide various reports.

Banner Administration 
Volunteers are needed to coordinate banner production, and hang and maintain banners.

Yard Sign Program 
SCEF places yard signs at the homes and businesses of our supporters for a three week period each fall. Volunteers organize sign distribution and place and pick up signs.

SCEF Table Staffing
SCEF staffs tables at many SCHS events, such as Registration, Back to School Night, Awards ceremonies, etc. Volunteers collect donations, disseminate SCEF brochures and answer questions.
